I use my credit card for convenience and to get the 1% back from my bank (I pay it off every month). I get a great deal of satisfaction knowing my bank pays me several hundred dollars a year for using a card that I pay no interest on.

My husband and I have a credit card for actually building credit. We use it for things we would use our debit card for, so we have the money already, and pay it off immediately

@peyton12000

you need a credit card in this life. tell us how we donโ€™t need one and ill deactivate it.

@Overkill803

Have fun with all of that liability on debit cards, and say bye to any cash back

@WilliamMitchell-t2h

Rich people use lines of credit. The interest rate is way cheaper than credit cards.

I use credit cards to buy anything I need to buy to live. Like gas, groceries and auto insurancet. I pay it all off every month. Instead of using cash I use credit and I get points for free flights and vacations. He isn't right on this one when you are Disciplined.

And how does one make travel arrangements without a credit card? Fill me in on that?

I don't even have debit cards.

Truth is if you need to get a loan and you have no credit history your screwed. I use a credit card for every purchase. I get cash back in allow it balance to be reported by keeping it at 20-30% level and then I pay it off before I have to pay Intrest.
