Phillippeans and India have made strategic cooperation agreements where India is supplying cheap defensive weaponry to Phillippeans. This serves the strategic interest of both countries. Phillippeans would much rather have 15 defensive Tejas aircraft and 200 retaliation missiles from India, rather than buying 2 American offensive aircraft and 4 first strike missiles.

This natural strategic relationship benefits both countries:
* Keeps the Chinese off the Phillippeno waters without breaking the defense budget.
* India gets a natural ally in the global south to counteract the local Chinese bully.

Indian government's top priority always should be to ensure security and integrity of the Indian state and the people of India. Rest of the matters come next. Militarily yes, we can defend ourselves when need arises. But truth is, China is much bigger military power than India. So for us, only effective tool against China remains our economic might. We should use our economic strength to resolve our borders issues once for always. Russia and other Brick countries can be big help for India on this issue. We should involve all the four Brick members and they can be good partners. If China and India succeed to come on a formula with the help of other Brick nations, not only those three countries, including Russia will be guarantors of that peace deed, this will establish Brick as a meaningful, most influential and trustworthy group in current geopolitics.
