Kaliningrad… stop being Russia. You know better..

The people of Koenegsberg or kaliningrad must decide as to whether they can be independent or not…The defeat of putin in the present Ukraine war, would be golden chance for Koenegsberg to become new nato state..

@YinandYangandGreen

All the conquered territories and peoples of the Muscovian Empire must be given the opportunity for independence whenever possible. The people of Kaliningrad deserve self governance.

@Kualinar

If Kaliningrad ever declare it's independence, I can see about 100+ countries standing in line to recognize it as a sovereign country. Also, I'm pretty sure that it'll adopt a non-Russian name.

@MarkKlimaszewski

Poland and Lithuania were the owners of this region for about 700 years of recorded history in the last 1000 years. And before that back to pre-Roman times. Kaliningrad's present population is made up of Russians imported by Stalin after the Germans fled before the Red Army. Kaliningrad is not a Sovereign state but a Russian colony, and if it is to have a new destiny it it will be amicably partitioned between Poland and Lithuania.

This is not good. You force the concepts and don't seem to have a good sense of proportions. I would not think this reliable, mainly your conclusions as you go along, although much of the material is factual enough.

Hopefully Putin wont be in power soon. Kalinigrad may then dseej independence and join Nato

@JoaoMariaNunes

if the "Soviets" perceive Kaliningrad change, we will see the rise of internal strife, like in Georgia and Ukraine , to prevent it from joining nato
