the context is that the man in the store was trying to find the mother and the kids to report to the father(which was who he called). the mother divorced or ran away and took the boys, resulting in the father searching for them. however, the man who pulled up in the car actually wasn’t one of the fathers investigators. watch the movie to see the full story, it’s really good(it is horror tho).
