How do you get the dividends from the US stocks in vested? I had invested in US Stocks through Interactive Brokers using ICICI and I am not having clarity with regards to how I might get the dividend of the US companies I hold. Anyone with answers?

Hello, i am very much new to this community and investment in general. Needed some tips or advise on mutual funds and which ones to target considering interest rate drop/US election which might impact India stocks/equity. Although investment plans are for 3 years but don't want to start of with wrong foot in the door.
Smallcap seems to be bad choice as per Akshat, but is Multicap/Flexicap the only option to jump in this investment pool as a beginner?
