Decoding Guidelines For Endorsements By Social Media influencers & Celebrities | The ET Money Show



With the rise of social media influencers, the Consumer Affairs Ministry released an endorsement guidelines for social media influencers. Influencers will be fined and even be barred from endorsing products in case of repeated non-compliance of the guidelines. Social media influencers will have to shell out Rs 50 thousand as penalty if they fail to inform their followers about paid promotions.
