i feel like there are 2 ways steve could have gotten inside minecraft in game canon
1: he was experimenting a way to teleport with some friends, accidentally making a portal sucking only him into the minecraft world
2: steve is the first of the first humans of minecraft created by the gods shown in minecraft legends and is also probably the reason he can respawn, and he was made save the enderman in the end from the ender dragon and alex, sunny, efe, noor and the rest of the others, being the first humans of minecraft
