Donald Trump Mocks Jimmy Carter On His 100th Birthday

Donald Trump took a jab at former President Jimmy Carter on his milestone 100th birthday. The comment was made as Trump spoke at a manufacturing facility in Waunakee, Wis., on Tuesday, Oct. 1. After stating that President Joe Biden was “the worst president,” Trump said Carter is now “the happiest man because Carter is considered a brilliant president by comparison.” Carter, a democrat from Georgia, served for one term from 1977 to 1981. He is the first American president who has lived a full century.

History does not regard Jimmy Carter's presidency as a success story, but the quadrupling of oil prices due to instability in the Middle East would have made it a tough gig for anyone. However, no one with an ounce of objectivity could deny that he was a decent and honourable man: he served his country in submarines (he didn't get daddy to lean on one of his tenants who was a doctor to write him a sick note); in the White House he honored America's treaty obligations and supported its allies (he didn't invite his country's most dangerous adversary to "do what the hell you like to them"); he consistently opposed dictators (he didn't praise them, or declare to an astonished world that he preferred the word of the worst of them to the advice he got from the US intelligence community); he discharged his duties as president diligently and honourably (he didn't promote his family in an orgy of nepotism that would have shamed a banana republic, nor grift from his gullible supporters with tacky gold sneakers, Trump-edition bibles, and $100,000 watches so tacky and blingy they'd shame a Russian oligarch). History will not be kind to Trump, nor to the bovine herd that follows him.

Donald Trump and Jimmy Carter are as far apart on presidential etiquette as Earth and … Uranus. Figure out for yourself who is who if you are having any social orientation left.
Jimmy Carter will enter history for much more chivalrous reason than … what's his name …?

It figures that a convicted criminal like Trump would make fun of a great humanitarian like Jimmy Carter. Carter, after his presidency put his money where his mouth was and took part in a lot of world wide help for other people. It figures that a would-be fascist like Trump would make fun of him. Trump doesn't understand the meaning of the word humanitarian. Why would Trump, who wants to be a dictator, understand what it means to help others, when the only thing Trump is interested in is himself? Don't compare yourself to Jimmy Carter, Trump. Take your small mind and limited intellectual abilities and go somewhere else.
