Frankly if you couldn't even keep the Red Sea open and safe against the Houthis, what chance do you have against China and Russia ?

The return of the Jedi 🎉

Confused at why Germany is doing this. Germany is not like the US where its bases are virtually global, which forms island chains and its alliances forms Quad. US also has aircraft carrier moving around the region (This means US has a hugh interest in this region). China is not choking any of Germany's shipping routes. It's kind of peculiar as to the 'why' for this case (What is Germany's interest)??

Btw, Trump recently had proposed that he would ask Taiwan to pay 10% of its GDP to defend itself, if he wins the election. US doesn't seem all that reliable. And because of the Israel lobby, it has little say about what Israel is doing currently (I feel kind of sorry for the US tax payers, that they are dragged into this rabbit hole whether they like it or not)

Germany has no military, the progressives took care of it.

China is the only problem here. Encroaching on others EEZ, taking their natural resources while destroying its ecosystems and building artificial island… And the most important, disrupting Freedom of Navigation.
