Trump started the withdrawal from Afghanistan and set the timetable. He also killed the immigration bill that a bi partisan agreement had been reached.

The thing about American politics that's often overlooked is that the president has a limited amount of power. The president can set an agenda, but Congress needs to work with the executive branch to execute it. So, whoever has the power of the purse also matters.

Trump doesn't look at Kamala as his equal. Hence he even said he didnt respect her intelligence. Which, that makes her win evem better. The GOP thinks the same way. Calling her a "DEI" nominee and attacking her credentials. Well, the "DEI" candidate bullied the toddler and ate his lunch. Unfortunately, Trump has convinced his voters into thinking that he can not fail, he can only be failed. She put him on the defensive all night. He was shook, and thats why he wont do another debate. He knows he wouldn't survive in the polls.

Hillary never came off as authentic in the general. A lot of the Dem voters didn't want her. They wanted Bernie. Bernie was similar to Trump. Voters looked at them as "outsiders." They are both populist. Hillary lost the election in the primaries. The DNC turned off millions of their voters, and they decided to stay home. She only won the popular vote by 2 million. In 2020 Biden had 7 million more votes than Trump. So he won with a margin that was 3.5x the amount Hillary did.

you should have mentioned the handshake twist, that Twerp had been mispronouncing her name maliciously for months before she introduced herself by the correct form.

This is a peerless current affair programme. Unmissable. My question would be that recently posed by The Economist: How ugly is the election and its aftermath going to get? According to their reckoning very messy indeed. I fear they are right. It would be interesting to know Mr. Campbell's and Mr. Stewart's view.

Rory not understanding that the exist from Afghanistan was cause by the deal that Trump made with the Taliban and placing blame on the Biden administration is annoying.
