I've read both of his books and watched countless hours of hia videos. I still cant figure out what drives Goggins.
He's a huge inspiration to my brother and I but we cant comprehend his motivation.

Try doing it for 8 months solid, and you know what? I went back to back tours to Iraq and Afghanistan 7 deployments over ten years, then 3 years supporting all the special forces !!! Guess what? You guys are babies right up until you pull that trigger, then God bless all in front of you!!! I love you guys, but you have no idea how much work it takes to get you on target, and that includes Hell week??? Guess what, brother Jesus loves you yesterday today and for all of eternity!!! When it gets bad, that's when you remember why you're doing it for??? Try being cold for months' training in the high desert, and I wish we had the cold any kind of water splashing on you, lol!!! Oh yeah, 4 surgeries while being a full-time dad when I was home ??? I'm proud of my WarFare pin. It took me 16 years before I thought I knew enough to have earned the right to wear it, not just after some training I went through and one 3 month deployment just saying I earned that PIN that pin is the reason your there without the trident you wouldn't have that trident to disrespect because alot of men with alot less training did alot more for the trident and they used to give it to them after buds CERE school moc work up!!! May God bless you and yours always in combat. You can't scream and cuss because it gives away your position, and in a fire fight calling out targets, there's no time for swearing in combat?? It's time to stop because we were in 2 different Navy's, and it's sad to me that this man can't stop talking about this training, but I never hear him talk about the real stuff he did…. I tell you what, nothing in training tops hard, like an 8 month deployment to a combat zone!!! 🙏 ❤✝️
