@jeumd

Great stuff. Thanks! Do you have a video similar to this but if you are targeting early retirement?

@NathanCruise-f8s

I think another option is a company sponsored NQDC, my company matches just like in the 401k

@hoaksone1

Wouldn’t a Roth 401k be better than contributing to a traditional 401k? No RMDs

This is the most useful video you will see today. And maybe tomorrow.

Great video, one small caveat. You can actually take advantage of both the regular Roth and Megabackdoor if your income does not cross the upper threshold. If your employer's 401(k) plan allows for after-tax contributions and in-plan Roth Conversions, the Mega Backdoor Roth is by far one of my favorite strategies that lets you contribute beyond the standard Roth IRA limits using your 401(k). It can also double as an emergency fund that you can invest and have grow tax free!

I am so happy that i made a productive decision about my finances that changed my life forever. I am a single Dad and i live in Florida, i bought my first house in September and i hope to retire next year at 40 if all goes well. Thanks to Mrs Judith M Layton for helping me achieve this.

@Megawashu

I noticed Tae moved Roth IRA from step 4 (in a previous video) to step 7 (in this video). Wondering why.
