No, all branches serve mid rats…..i ate mod rats every day in Iraq at an army DFAC…

The Navy has more aircraft and nuclear weapons, and the Marines to pay out of their 1/3 of defense budget. Therefore, they spend way more money maintaining a combat effectiveness than they do on the sailors. Also all Air Force bases were built after WWII and are modern by comparison to Navy and Army facilities. So the upkeep cost of the bases is more than double that of an Air Force base. This is why the Air Force gets to spoil their civilians in uniform.
