Iran launches ballistic missile attack on Israel

Iran launched a barrage of ballistic missiles against Israel on Tuesday, the latest escalation between the two countries amid a widening conflict in the Middle East.

Dozens of projectiles were shot down over Tel Aviv by Israel’s vast missile defence system before they could hit any targets. A series of explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and near Jerusalem.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said Iran had launched tens of missiles at Israel, and that if Israel retaliated Tehran’s response would be “more crushing and ruinous.”

Meanwhile, Israeli military spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said Iran’s attack was serious and will have consequences

According to CNN, those are the Shahab-3 medium-range ballistic missiles using a liquid propellant. In order to travel in high speed, they can't carry too much explosive. As they're awfully expensive but precise, for the sake of cost effective, they must have aimed the high value aircrafts, mostly likely the F-35. Even the Global News video showed that plenty of these missles hit the targets

Difference between Iran and Israel: Only after multiple bomb attack in Iran and on Iranian officials in Syria and elsewhere, Iran bombed military targets while killing almost no civilians – Israel bombed Iran even though Iran had not bombed Israel or their officials anywhere, and Israel bombs civilian targets while killing almost no military personnel.
