Great to see Steph and Dray getting up close with their support for the young buck's performance.

Coach said, "Go be a Star!".

Kuminga said "Yup!".

I am happy to see him live up to his potential. But his scoring has mostly been sub-par this season and suddenly he is a super-hero. We would be better off in the long run if he could be more generally reliable, not just have a super game one time.

I conjecture that when Steph is out, it allows other players to do better. Steph will often score in the 20+, but this comes at the cost of other players having a chance to score. What we need for a winning team is for Steph to make his contribution in a way that does not take away the opportunities of others. Then we can have the score of Steph AND others, not just the score of Steph OR others. Our best situation would be for Steph to score his 20+, and Jonathan, Andrew, and Buddy to score their 15-ish at the same time. If you look at the box scores, you see that each is capable of this, but rarely happens in the same game.

A bit off topic, I think that Brandin is more of a liability than an asset. When I watch Chris Paul, I see perfect decision and control of movement and shooting. When I see Brandin, I see the opposite, many lost opportunities.
