The NBA orchestrated another wild night with 4 game winners, clutch daggers, a 50 point 4th quarter leading to a huge comeback, and a coach chasing officials all over the court.
Let’s start in order.
The Pistons were down 10 with 2:45 remaining in Sacramento, when Malik Beasley went nuts, hitting 3 bombs from deep within a span of 100 seconds.
Beasley single handedly brings Detroit to a one point deficit in just 4 possessions.
On the other end, De’aaron Fox finally steps up for the Kings.
Swipa puts his team up by 3, but Jaden Ivey quickly responds by catching a head of steam and making the layup in just 4 seconds. Still down by 1, the Pistons send Kevin Huerter to the line, and despite shooting a clunky 67% for the season, he stays calm under pressure, leading us to this madness at the end…
WOW what a shot by Ivey to be able to hit the off balance 3 and get the foul as well, but he still needs to make a free throw to complete the heroic effort.
Jaden comes up with poise and composure unlike for a 22 year old, and with Fox missing the hail mary from half court the Kings suffer their 5th loss in a row. Detroit on the other hand is on a little 3 game winning streak, already tying their last season record in December and climbing up in the standings.
Next, we go to Orlando for the duel of Florida that lacked superstar presence, but not drama.
Before the game the Heat released a statement from Pat Riley that they’re supposedly not trading Jimmy Butler. What?
Anyway, in a very low scoring game, Alec Burks brought the Heat from down 10 to up by 4 in the 4th quarter.
But with neither team being able to pull away, we were in for a frantic finish.
And with Herro missing this tough fadeaway 3, Burks gets the offensive rebound but falls out of bounds, and now the Magic have a chance to take the lead…
In a chaotic looking possession, Goga Bitadze somehow gets the tip in to go, putting Orlando up by 1 with less than 5 seconds to go. But then, it’s Hero time.
Tyler Herro’s game winner bringed Kobe flashes in front of my eyes, an absolute killer instinct, and with Jalen Suggs missing the last shot, it’s game over.
But the Butler situation is certainly not, so we’ll keep an eye on it for sure.
We are focusing now on Portland against Utah, where the Jazz had a 15 point lead in the 3rd, but Deni Avdija and Shaedon Sharpe refused to let it go and chipped away from the deficit little by little.
And on this 3 by Avdija the arena exploded.
Deni was a dog in this one, making huge plays on both ends of the court.
But he wasn’t done yet because…
Avdija scored 14 of his 27 points in the 4th quarter and completely turned this game around, giving his team a 6 point lead with 2 minutes left to play. (2ro slobodno filer na 2:02)
And when Shaedon Sharpe got the layup in transition to go, the Blazers were up by 5 late, thinking they got this in the bag.
But, Utah would not surrender as well, as Sexton and Markkanen made some big plays on both ends, keeping them intact, with Lauri saying let’s go to war on this possession.
The Finisher tied the game with his 25 point of the night, but an unlikely hero would emerge for the home team at the end.
Not Sharpe nor Deni, but Scoot Henderson goes inside, freezes the rim protector with the turnaround and hits the game winner for an exhilaration of the crowd in Portland.
And who said that a game between the 2 worst teams in the league can’t be interesting?
Well, hold your horses.
The Wizards had a big 21 point lead in the 1st half, but as usual they blew it, by allowing Charlotte to go on a 19 to 4 run at the start of the 4th.
The Hornets made it all the way back, and had a chance to get to a 3 point lead if Josh Green hits his free throws, but he misses both in the clutch, giving Washington a chance, and after this chaotic sequence we got this…
Buut, Lamelo is like, wait a second.
Oh my goodness, Melo throws an alley-oop pass to Williams in all this mess and he gets it to, putting Charlotte back up again.
And after the timeout, the arena erupts because…
Jordan Poole wastes no time at all, pulling up the step back and winning the game for his team, as Brandon Miller couldn’t answer on the other side to complete the comeback.
If you thought these were wild, wait till you see what happened in Atlanta, where the Bulls had a 126 to 110 lead with 5:30 in the game, but then…
Man, the Hawks blitzed Chicago in 2 and a half minutes and tied the game. Unbelievable.
But the party was still going strong.
With everyone on their feet, Jalen Johnson adds to the fire with a huge putback layup.
Just 3 minutes ago they were down 16, and now they are up 4, this is crazy!

What about the Laker final second victory?
