‘Maximal cringe’: Avengers cast roasted for assembling to endorse Kamala Harris

The Avengers cast have assembled to endorse Kamala Harris for president in a video posted to social media.

Actor Mark Ruffalo posted the Zoom call to X that featured actors who appeared in several Marvel mega-hit movies.

Joining Ruffalo were Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, Danai Gurira and Chris Evans.

Throughout the clip, the actors debated what Kamala Harris’ campaign catchphrase should be.

Some of the actors even jokingly quoted their character’s lines from their respective movies.

After a lengthy chat, the actors were happy to settle on the vice president being “down with democracy”.

While the actors seemingly enjoyed their experience on the call, social media users roasted it and labelled it “cringe”.

“Maximal cringe. Now I can never watch another Avengers movie,” wrote one user.

Tom Holland wasn't there, so maybe he's not as bad a Spider-Man as people gave him credit for

Fuck Australia and them trying to fuck with our politics. Stop injecting yourselves as if you have the slightest idea of what you're (ignorantly) talking about, and if you have one inkling to do with us. FUCK OFF already!
