As someone who's worked in multiple top banks. I personally dont think its worth it. For some reason banking attracts a certain type of person. Its mostly about who you know and your likeability by your bosses boss. I wasted my youth in banking. I would recommend learning about investing but doing something else while applying your learning.

So glad I went into software instead of IB. Can’t remember the last time I worked on a weekend
