This is an adapted version that I created of the 1993 PSA commercial for Partnership for a Drug Free America. The PSA in that year was called “Celebrity Endorsement” which showed several names and faces of celebrities including Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and River Phoenix, in which they have died from abuse, addiction and/or overdose from drugs.
I took it upon myself to make a new verision of the commercial. But, instead of remaking it with other celebrities who have died from drugs, I decided to mention celebritites who have overcome their addictions and live to tell their stories.
