Keep racking up the wins, Rockets! I would still like to see a roster move to help upgrade team play.

I know the perfect trade:

Pistons get
– Jae’Sean Tate
-Jock Landale
– 3 draft picks

Rockets get
– Ausar Thompson
– Jalen Duren

Amen Thompson with 21 pts, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks in a start at the Small Forward as Dillan Brooks got the night off.

All of his blocks were then turned right into fast break points because he then snatched the ball and pushed the ball right up the court. He's such an absolute stud in help defense. One of the best in the league for a wing.

21 offensive rebounds tonight for the Rockets to 11 for the Hornets. They are the best rebounding team in the NBA!

@deveryday1

70 second half points is fantastic….

If you didn't lay a 31 point egg in the first half. Hell, even a below average 40-45 point first half would've changed the complexion of the game

@juqual78

I would really have loved to see Reed Sheppard also get a bunch of good reps in the G-league, because look how it's paid off for Cam Whitmore.

Cam's shot looks smoother than Reed's and that is a function of REPS! Reed was 1-6 from 3 and Cam 3-8. Reps matter for young players and Reed didn't do anything that Aaron Holiday couldn't have done since the start of the season.

Sure you can argue that Reed is learning directly under Fred Van Fleet, but they could have had him perform most of those duties as starting PG for the Vipers in G-league for the Rockets. Missed opportunity to also have Reed clicking like Cam looks to be now.

If Amen gets a jumper it’s over 🚀
