Delta is stand alone they can deploy themselves. They have more money as well. And you can’t get into delta straight out of boot camp so guys are older more experienced

My Dad was in the SAS he never ever told me and I didn’t find out until after he died and ex squadron people turned up to his funeral. He was in Malaya. In the garage in a box he had all of his stuff. Sand coloured beret and photographs of people he served with. There was a note for me. It said… Dear son guess you have found out there is a little bit more about me. But that’s ok. You are my hero and I saw how much you struggled for the first 18 months as a baby. I decided to focus everything on you.
