Context our squad is valued 9th, our turnover is 7th with a massive gap up to 6th. So why are you disappointed with our progress?? Eddie has spent really well and coached really well and being disappointed with Champions League and a cup final is …

Controversial doesn’t even begin to cover your absolutely ludicrous suggestion. If I had £1 for every mile I have travelled back and forth from Wakefield for both home and away games in summer or winter at weekend or midweek, I would be a multi millionaire. Now you are suggesting because of where I now live I am some kind of second rate supporter. You need to give your head a shake lads and start taking more water with your drink 🤬. Yes I am just a tad upset with you!

@JohnWilliamRobertson

So let me get this right I’m born and bred and an ex season ticket holder for more than 3 decades until I jacked it due to Ashley but according to you three my grandchildren born in the USA and are running around in toon strips and have been before the take over should be considered second class citizens/ supporters because they are not born in the north east so according to you it’s not in their blood.
I’ve heard some shite in my 70 years but nothing as shite as that I’m absolutely raging

Ticket gatekeeping is a bad idea. Been a Newcastle fan (thanks to my family being from the region) all my life but live in Germany. I have a modest income here but have taken many planes, trains and automobiles to see the Toon as often as I can afford

The new Chicago Bears stadium design is something to marvel at WOW Jacksonville Jaguars revamp is amazing too both stadiums are 60-70k capacity with major focus on the corporate side Nufc can be a very unique to other football stadiums if they looked at that NFL model, with the money PIF have they should be aiming for something like that.

@TriniGuy19-u3i

I support a new larger stadium. It helps more fans to experience the match day.

I normally wholeheartedly agree with you guys on most points but the suggestion to prioritise tickets to locals (to the extent discussed) I don't agree with.

I moved to Sweden a few years ago. Family circumstances means I've not tried to get tickets for a while but I've been looking into it now and it's so hard. I actually met a guy this week (a Swedish lad who came to service my boiler) who also supports Newcastle. He's never been to SJP. We were discussing the difficulties coming from abroad to see them.

Without extra availability for those further afield the growth will stunt. I totally get locals having some priority but it can't be to such an extent that those who aren't in the area don't have a chance. Without that the club's growth will plateau.
