If a tornado could pick up a 200 ton locomotive, I'd be a little concerned… It's possible it could knock it over depending on the strength of the tornado but one like this I don't think it could even attempt to pick it up, definitely a safe place for them to be though lol
If you dont think a larger tornado couldve rolled this or any locomotive/engine easily, please look up "Cactus 117 El Reno 2011"
Some of these comments are funny. Comparing a locomotive to this particular tornado vs what would be rated an F5 or EF5. Some people saying " Fujitsu " instead of Fujita , having no clue the Enhanced Fujita scale rating is SOLELY based on damage indicators assessed by NWS post-storm, thinking it has to be El Reno sized to do EF5 damage…or toss a locomotive. Can it happen? Even to the locomotive as heavy as it is? Yes. Can they all do it? No. It all depends on wind speed (and whether its close enough to the ground of cours), direction, AND duration. A '97 Jarrell, TX forward speed, with '99 Bridge Creek-Moore Moore wind speed, and '13 El Reno size..could easily roll it as long as it wanted to if the direction was right. See Joplins hospital for example. The literal building itself.

That has to be the best footage and most chill I have ever seen anyone watching a demon hit you directly. That was like a movie scene from twister. Glad that noone was hurt.
