So sad when I remembered that it was Vince's bday on the 26th of Jan 2020 then hearing the accident of Kobe.

@UnoriginalEscobar

Only fake raptors fans hate on Vince. If it weren’t for him we’d all be watching boring ass hockey, pretending we could afford that shit coming from the neighbourhoods we coming from like rexdale, malvern or my hood Woolner. Vince allowed us less than fortunate kids the courage to dream. Love you Vince.

Love how VC started by giving God the glory.

I have mixed feelings about Vince and his hall of fame speech. To me, it sounds like he has a lot of emotional pain and wounds he hasn’t healed from. His speech also gives me vibes of regret because he could have performed better but took it easy and relied on his talent to carry him. He didn’t take the game as serious consistently as his peers (Kobe, TMac, AI, and Ray). I think TMac leaving hurt VC a lot which he regret as well and I’ll never forgive him for that. Vince was my guy and I wanted him to surpass MJ but he didn’t have the mental fortitude to do it. After Jersey, Vince was a shell of himself so I don’t even look at the other teams he was on. He will always be one of my favorite players of all time. It’s a bitter sweet moment for me.

Vince Carter was a great Basketball player, that said some of these comments that people write are insane with no logic whatsoever, comments like "He was voted over MJ in 2003, he better than MJ" and "He is the best dunker ever". With these crazy comments they leave out CONTEXT.

First, He was voted over MJ in 2003 all star game because MJ (Last nba season with the wizards) was age 42 with bad knees and a broken rib, Vince gave his all star spot to MJ, out of respect!

Second, Vince was a great dunker, was he better than MJ, its debatable! MJ's dunks were mostly contact heavy dunks, Carter's dunks were mostly free lane dunks. MJ >Carter in dunks and that's fact. Carter is a more diverse dunker than MJ and that's true.

If these so called fans remember Carter by these 2 things then you haven't watched Carter play at all and its a shame that you hang on to these 2 irrelevant things! Vince Carter with better team mates would've won a championship ring.

@G9Classified9

How he wasn’t 75 is beyond me smh

Half-man, Half-amazing! Thank you for all of your incredible dunks and for giving up your starting spot in the 03 All-stars game to MJ. Class act!
