One of the absolutely craziest MOH awards out there is for a Dentist. Yeah a damn dentist. Ben L. Salomon ended up in the Army got sent over to the Island hopping campaign and was acting as a Medic when his position was overrun in the middle of him working on the wounded. Go find the write up yourself its on Wikipedia and is more than worth the read.
