I know you’re right, but it won’t stop me from hating it forever. I love Dame and I think he deserves it far more than Kyrie, although I know he won’t get it.

“Dame peaked better” is all a matter of your perspective on what winning basketball is. Kyrie being able to play next to anybody at a championship level is more impressive than having an ultra green light on a bad franchise going nowhere. Dame is not a 1A, nor has he ever been. If you’re not Steph or Zeke, small guards don’t lead teams to championships. Dame is a sidekick just as Kyrie is, and at that, Kyrie is much better without the ball.
