if you put 15k in mp2 monthly for 5 years you get a million, digital banks is an option for emergency funds it earns interest monthly too. if you know how everything is possible with little risk

@bdzerda

investment-linked insurance pala to, VUL? sheesh. better put your money in another investment vehicle. insurance is good if you have dependents or if you want to augment your HMO – but buy into traditional insurance nalang then invest the rest into equities or bonds or even MP2 if you have enough savings.

Lay Mijares, you nailed it. All of them actually provided real life financial wisdom. Love the casting also, hindi lang mga naka angat na sa buhay pero sinama din yung papunta pa lang. 🫶🏼

Money can buy happiness, but it doesn't mean it's necessary to be happy. Simple lang naman nung point eh, and saying "you can be happy without money" doesn't support the argument that "money can't buy happiness" or "you don't need money to be happy" – if you're gonna argue this is the same, read it again. Which is yung misunderstanding ng mga bobong basher dun sa podcast nila Geybin. I don't watch them, I don't like them – but I don't hate them. Interestingly, when the argument is reversed, "Yung mga mayayaman naman hindi sila masaya" the counter argument in this video was "It wasn't about money, it's about character"

jusmiyo dont talk about "hitting rock bottom" mean you don't know the exact meaning and feeling of it. jusko bata mo kala mo na experience mo na lahat. hitting rock bottom is the feeling of giving up and the two ways lang iniisip mo, death or go up (mostly hindi namin alam if paano).

My family had struggled with finances. It had an impact on our psychology and how we see things. It causes problem in the family and affects mental health. There is fear, uncertainty and insecurity that comes with it.
