I hate it when people downplay IB as "Excel, word and PPT". Yes, those are the tools you use but what you're doing with those tools drive the conversation that ultimately leads to transactions happening. Thank you for not doing that. I was on IB for a while, mostly financing. Yeah, I spent a lot of time modeling but I wasn't a financial modeller.
