US is planning to fight against Russia, not Finland. Part of the reason they got forced to join NATO to US to operate within Finland.
Russia gave out all the land back to Finland in 1941. And there is no conflict ever since.

When you here Americans talking about countries they do not know anything about spewing hate against Russia.. you know it's an agenda and it's factually untrue.

To be Clear : Finland joined NATO as it would make NATO stronger not to Defend Finland. Finland have no issues with Russia ever since 1941.
Don't blame Russia because US is trying to militarize all the Russian borders starting from Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Ukraine.
It's US obsession that Russia is the enemy.
Finland actually don't want NATO membership. But they were pressured by the US, so as Sweden.

I also believe the Russia is behind the funding of migrants crossing the channel. GB government knows and covers it up.

Russia has no intion to attac finnland or the baltic if they not attack russia first. Of course finnland is the bad guy, they joined nato, a organisasjon created to take down russia.

Finland would have really loved it if Russia had turned into a good trading partner and at least a non-threatening neighbor after the Cold War. Uneasy friendship was within reach. It did seem to go that way until the bear started to baring it's teeth again in early 2010s. It's a shame. I see little reason why Russia couldn't be a trading partner both towards the West and the East (& South) while maintaining their distinct identity, but I guess internal politics dictated a return to seem like great power via confrontation. Now Russia is a middling power reliant on their replacement China as a superpower in an ironic twist.

Fortunately Finland never trusted Russia to be stable and trustworthy, and always prepped for the worst. Even as part of NATO and article 5, Finland knows we likely would not be a priority to help in a large NATO vs Russia -conflict, or many other scenarios, so we have to be prepped to hold out on our own.

Finland's military is in no way built to be an invasion force, nor geared for any aggressive action, it's defense all the way. And that defense goes deep into the society, with there being not only a plan and practice on how to mobilize the military, but the civilian population, leaders. businesses and infrastructure as well.

As to hybrid warfare, Russia is using Finland as a petri dish for some tactics. For example, they're jamming GPS signals making civilian air and sea traffic in the East regions rely on other means, doing DoS and other cyber attacks on government and other key infra, and trying to prop up political sympathizers. Which is nice, since it allows Finns and NATO allies to learn from it and shake off any complacency.

Luckily there's no political foothold to take. As one of the least corrupt countries in the world, Russia's hybrid influencing campaigns on social and conventional media tend to be met with laughter and dismissal. Even Finland's populist party is, for the most part, stalwart against Russian influence due to their identity being strongly pro-Finnish independence, especially from Russia.

I, personally, am not so worried about Putin – his military and economic strength is spent on Ukraine. But I'm really worried what happens when Putin dies. No one knows. I do wish Central European powers were prepped for the worst case. Finland is.
