I'm with you on pie crust! Can't stand soggy pie crust! That's always been why I didn't like pumpkin pie! Love this recipe!❤

As long as my kitchen is clean. There are places to sit. Places to lay the plates. And my bathroom is clean, for someone to use. And the food is good. Nothing else matters. 🤷 Everything else is inconsequential. 😘

Yes! to that crustless pumpkin pie! I agree: pie crust does nothing for me either (it’s not worth the calories I could be spending on dressing and stuffed eggs! Haha) I hate to say anything negative but the sound on this video was a bit wonky. I don’t know if you were using a new microphone or something but even the live interactions sounded like voiceover/dubbed audio. Back to the positive: all of these recipes looked and sounded yummy! God bless and Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍁 ❤

It’s always a good idea to heat your milk when adding to hot potatoes when you’re mashing potatoes. It’s makes them creamier. I read on the back of a bag of russet potatoes that adding one tsp of baking powder to your cooked potatoes before mashing them will make those potatoes very fluffy. That was the first time I had ever seen a recipe for mashed potatoes on the back of the bag. It works!

Thank you for sharing your take on side dishes for Thanksgiving. Sometimes we get in a rut over here and it’s inspiring to see something a little different. Your husband made me smile as I watched his expressions of your yummy food. He’s so appreciative of you. You can see it on his face. You Guys are wonderful people and I don’t even know you, but it comes out in your countenance.

I absolutely love how real you always are with us. It truly makes me feel like I'm not alone in feeling a little sad, that things aren't the same as when my daughter was little. We just miss those sweet moments and memories we made. Also as our parents get older, we realize how precious our time is with them. The holidays can be very hard for a lot of people. Thank you for helping with these wonderful crockpot recipes. Everything looks so delicious! I dearly love you Momma Mel! ❤ Thank you for being such a sweet friend and part of my life.
