Yeah, the killer app of not having to drive your car, and being able to make money off your car as mostly passive income by sending it out as a robo taxi, will not be a catalyst for demand. Was that your dad who predicted no one would want a computer at home? He also leaves out the rapid growth and large profit margins in energy storage, the coming humanoid robot, Optimus, which no one will want just like bread is a failure of an invention…

This post will not age well and it may make the list of dumbest things said by “experts” right before huge inflection points. Like the guy who said humans would not fly in the next ten thousand years right before the Wright Brothers flew…

So he's bearish because (1) "low free cash" but completely ignoring why. What kind of media reporting is this? Tesla's free cash flow going into CapEX investments on super computers, factories, and innovation. And (2), he can't imagine any growth catalysts for Tesla in the future… what?? So the "lower" priced cars built on the same production lines and the forthcoming <$25k cars won't do anything for growth? He's not bearish he's just BSing.

yes tesla is totally an auto company l
