Sky News Australia host Liz Storer has put the key Kamala Harris campaign tactic of using celebrity endorsements under the spotlight saying the ploy “fell so flat” and didn’t resonate with the American people.
Several high-profile celebrities including musicians, rappers, and movie stars, recently came out to publicly endorse Kamala Harris before the US election.
Ms Harris ultimately was defeated emphatically by her opponent Donald Trump in the race to the White House.
“This has got to be the death of celebrity endorsements,” Ms Storer said.
“I’ve never seen more celebrities – the most famous names you could possibly mention from Taylor Swift to Beyonce – we’re talking about the most famous people in Hollywood … endorsed Kamala Harris.
“And it has fallen so flat …. people aren’t listening to you, they can see what’s fake.”
Fellow Sky News host James Macpherson commented on the issue saying the tactic was “one of the mistakes, of many mistakes, that the Harris campaign made.”

True working Americans don’t give a flip about celebrities. Celebrities don’t do anything for the country.
