Accompanying Israeli aggression against Lebanon is a central psychological element of "shock and awe" meant to amplify the very real destruction and damage being done to Lebanon and Hezbollah.
It is designed to create fear, anger, panic, division, and desertion among US-Israeli opponents and disrupt the ability to resist military operations.

Israelās actions in Lebanon only create a āspiral of violenceā and risk plunging the entire Middle East into a new bloody conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a UN Security Council meeting on Friday. Moscow āresolutely condemnsā the Israeli attacks and seeks to de-escalate the situation, he added.
Israelās strikes āblatantly violate the sovereignty ofā¦ Lebanon,ā Lavrov said in his remarks. āIndiscriminate attacks that lead to civilian casualties are absolutely unacceptable.ā The Russian minister also called for an āimmediately stopā to the āspiral of violenceā before the situation gets out of hand. He also stated that Israel would not be able to achieve its stated goals with such attacks.
āThe path of war chosen by the West Jerusalem will not help it bring internally displaced people to the north of the country and will not bring security to the Israeli-Lebanese border area,ā he said, adding that Israel failed to achieve its goals in the 2006 Lebanon war despite using ācutting-edge equipment and weapons.ā
The Israeli bombings have already killed at least 558 people in Lebanon, including 50 children and 94 women, Lavrov said, adding that more than 1,600 were injured and ātens of thousands had to leave their homes.ā – RT
In its daily update on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian forces that invaded Russiaās Kursk Region have lost more than 330 servicemen and 16 armored vehicles, including one tank, two armored personnel carriers, and 13 armored combat vehicles. Additionally, one artillery piece, an electronic warfare station, a counter-battery station, and eight vehicles were also destroyed, while three Ukrainian servicemen have surrendered.
The ministry added that since the start of the incursion, the Ukrainian military has lost more than 17,750 servicemen, over 130 tanks, hundreds of other combat vehicles, and several pieces of Western-supplied rocket systems and other military equipment. – RT
